ESCORT F1 is a cucumber hybrid for professional cultivation in polytunnels and glasshouses. The variety produces smooth, green fruits measuring approximately 18 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter and is suitable for spring and autumn cultivation.

Characteristics

• Type: F1 cucumber hybrid.
• Cultivation: polytunnels and glasshouses.
• Fruit: almost smooth and green.
• Flowering: entirely female and parthenocarpic, or predominantly female.
• Plant density: 1.25–1.50 plants/m² in glasshouses; approximately 1.80–2.50 plants/m² in polytunnels.
• Resistances: CMV, PRSV-W, WMV-2 and ZYMV; tolerance to downy mildew.
